Obsidian the Incubus

(Yeah, I haven't put a new piece up in awhile... probably won't put up a new one in awhile either...but we'll see 'bout that)

This was for a contest, to draw our own superhero in a superhero RP guild I'm in at Gaia (though I've had this char for awhile). He's the same guy in my other last piece too, but I have a name and more structured background to him now. If you're actually interested, here's the description (this is alot more detailed than my role-playing version - this is in fact my comic book version of his story) - but I WARN that it might be a little on the nasty and disturbing side. But whatever:

Name: Obsidian (real name: Jin Mitoki)
Specie: Incubus, a demon of sex (NOT a vampire, dammit!)
Powers:
- All corporeal incubus/succubus have enhanced human characteristics such as strength, speed, agility, and so on. They are immortal and immune to human diseases as well.
- All corporeal incubus/succubus have the ability to seduce and persuade by skin-to-skin contact. This usually only works on victims of their opposite sex. This ability can be melded with martial arts, but this means they cannot make hard blows- only light taps. A fully-clothed enemy cannot be affected by its power.
- All corporeal incubus/succubus must perform sexual intercourse with a victim to keep them sustained and alive. Like a vampire in need of blood, incubi/succubi need to feed on energy by intercourse. Because they gain energy in sex, they can continue performing copulation without tiring, which can actually eventually kill the victim when they lose all their energy.
Physical Appearances:
- Obsidian himself is apparently of Japanese-American descent.
- All corporeal incubus/succubus have albino qualities in skin and eyes. This makes them a little vulnerable to the sun, but it won't kill them like it would a vampire.
- All corporeal incubus/succubus have fangs in their teeth that are differently structured from a vampires, and are used for oral sex purposes... they have tiny teeth in their pubic area as well for normal sex - these secrete an anesthetic so they can't really be felt. The teeth help with eating orgasmic fluid... their way of absorbing the energy, actually.
- All corporeal incubus/succubus have an obsidian-like spikes protruding from his lower neck to his upper spine. Overtime, they can grow wings, horns, and a tail, but this takes over a few centuries to develope.
- Obsidian himself wears a silver tooth on his necklace - a trophy of one of the most menacing monsters he defeated.
- Obsidian himself has a tattoo on his left arm that he was "born" with, and a piercing on his left eye.
History:
All incubus/succubus started their life in a an alternate dimension where peoples dreams exist (it's a little...psychadelic ). Rumors are that these demonic souls were once humans who died and were either condemned into there, or asked to be there - but details are sketchy. These creatures are incorporeal here, and do not really have a mind of their own - they are simply overdriven by lust, so they take invade peoples dreams. They take upon a form of somesort and seduce the victim asleep in their dreams. This explains why people get sleep paralysis and unexplainable nocturnal orgasms. In this dream world, they are "in the brain" of their victim, which allows them to unconsciously learn many things of human behavior and skills for when they are in the real world.
Through demonic rituals, they can be summoned into our world. The ritual is appointed to one person of the opposite sex to summon the incubus/succubus, and are to be its first corporeal partner in sex. Once in the world, the incubus/succubus have no recollection of the dream world they lived in, but they can now think for themselves and have skills they have learned from human victims in dreams. The summoner gives them their former human name, and then they are simply left to roam the world, seeking new victims to seduce.
This incubus in particular, Obsidian, while in Ireland, found a chick he particularly fell in love with. She's apparently a demon hunter of some sort though. Wanting to really impress her, and show he is no stereotype, he decides to do some good (only "good" can be kinda confusing for a demon). He later teams up with group of other monsters-ish antiheroes (a vampire, a witch, a werewolf, and a another kinda demon hunter) to slay evil demons. Their adventures eventually lead them to fight supervillians, cyborgs, and big time criminals as well, but their primary concern is fighting evil supernatural demons and spirits. (I have drawings of 'em, but not of this type...so you might never get to see the other characters for awhile X-P )
